
Terry Doyle, CEO is an author, educational consultant and professor emeritus of reading at Ferris State University where he worked for 38 years. From 1998 to spring of 2009 he was the Senior Instructor for Faculty Development and Coordinator of the New to Ferris Faculty Transition Program for the Faculty Center for Teaching and Learning.
Terry has presented over seventy-five workshops on teaching and learning topics at regional, national and international conferences and has worked with faculty at one hundred and seventy different colleges and universities around the world over the past ten years. His presentations focus on ways to assist higher education faculty in becoming learner centered teachers and how faculty can apply new findings from neuroscience, biology and cognitive science in their teaching to improve students’ learning.
He is the author of three books focused on the application of neuroscience, biology and cognitive science to teaching and learning all published by Stylus. The first, Helping Students Learn in a Learner Center Environment: A Guide to Teaching in Higher Education, 2008, has just been translated into Chinese. His 2011 book, Learner Centered Teaching: Putting the Research into Practice was featured in the Chronicle of Higher Education's Selected New Books in Higher Education in 2012. His most recent book, published in August 2013, co-authored with Dr Todd Zakrajsek and written for college student, The New Science of Learning: How to Learn in Harmony with Your Brain was a finalist for the USA Best Book Award for 2013 in the category of Education/Academics. Terry also co-authored the book New Faculty Transition -An Ideal Program published in 2004.

Jessica is the Head of Musical Theatre for the School of Theatre & Dance at East Carolina University where she has also been a professor of voice since 2017. She is an expert in how the voice works, how the brain works, and how they can work together to create a clear, balanced, flexible voice existing in a body that isn't afraid to use it.
Jessica has spent the last 15+ working as a vocal coach, clinician and performer on both coasts, many states in between, in Honolulu, and for 2 years in Seoul, South Korea. Jessica is the creator of She is Fierce: Find Your Voice & Raise it the Hell Up, a workshop series helping clients harness the power of their voices and change their lives. She works with clients to make positive changes to their voices: in their head and out of their mouths.
